I am a musician, but I don't play an instrument, I only play the computer. If that is an instrument. Perhaps it is.

I'm a skinny white guy from Chicago. Thirty something...
One day, When I was a young boy, my ‘flowerchild’ mom came into my room with a huge box full of 45's. The box bursted with music from the 50's to the 70's. Thank You Mom! I played them all MORE than the kid in 'Almost Famous'.
As my musical taste ripened, I settled on staples like Fleetwood Mac. Even today, their same ten songs tickle me. Amazing power.
There is a sweetness to violins introduced into rock music, and I am particularly attracted to bands like ELO, and southern rock styles like the Allman Brothers. There continues today many 1000's of phases, this week I am actually stuck on vintage Joni Mitchell; last week, Angel.
Mystical rock, that's what I crave. Music has to touch my soul. I guess the sadder, darker music is actually stronger. Perhaps because I have felt the extreme darker emotions more than the brighter. In any event, the 'music' must touch me first. Lyrics are a bonus, if they fit.
60's, 70's, 80's music style, is the way that I write; and the way that I want to write. There is more to be explored there.
If music is a language, then the first task is: "what to say?" Then figure out how to say it. Then decide, who or what will say it for you. For me, the 'computer interpreter' has a lousy accent, however, it gets the job done.
The real fantasy for me, is a computer that can "read" the chords that I play in my brain, in real-time. Of course this, may not happen in my lifetime.
My songs are Not presented as "complete". They are presented as computer output, in "the raw". They are meant to be a "Base" for an accomplished composer.
Hopefully, I can prove to 'someone' that I am capable of writing a Base 'score' or 'jingle', or a 'soundtrack' for their project. At this particular website, the goal is exposure and feedback.
The Main Goal is Profit. These arrangements came from my soul. So, a piece of me goes with them. That 'piece' is not free.
These arrangements are published.
