The Great Appalachian Crustacean Migration

I've been invited once again to participate in another production of a wonderful play, the Great Appalachian Crustacean Migration. This childrens' musical was written and directed by two very talented Seattle area educators Kelly Griffin and Tom Freeman. My musical saw is featured in this show as is my washboard scrubbin' and harmonica huffin'. I even have a few lines in the script. For my cameo appearances during the first productions of this show in mid 2007 I played the melody of a wonderful old folk song, "Wayfaring Stranger", with my saw while the entire cast of about 50 children sang the verses. It was an absolutely stellar moment for me to be accompanied by so many talented students. The next two performances will take place on February 1st and 2nd at a local Seattle school.
