A lot has been happening since my last post here. Primary in my musical pursuits of late has been my building more of my Gadgets. These are percussion/sound-effect toys for children. Currently, I'm completing some renovations on the earliest of these. Then, I will get to work building two or three more, to bring along to the next event that I'll be attending.

Songs are still finding their way to me and among those I've shared is one that pushed its way to the top of the charts. "Keep The Boom Boom On The Hush Hush", rocked the top ten Blues and Acoustic Blues charts at SoundClick for two weeks, reaching #1 in Acoustic Blues out of over 1900 others and #4 in Blues from among over 55,500 Blues songs by other artists and bands of every description.

I've also completed some new music videos. Most recently, I completed a video of my song, "The Circus Clown Has Just Passed Away." This was a response to the tragic shooting at Cafe Racer in Seattle, six years ago, which took the lives of two musical friends.

Another recent video, "Discrimination's Fires", like many of my latest songs, reflect our troubled political times. More are in the works. and I'll always find the time to share.

I'm also making headway on my next acoustic guitar project. This experimental model will feature some innovations that I've wanted to explore and test. At present, I am anxiously awaiting a custom neck, that I'm having built.

And lastly, is a move to delve into more of my art musings. This is the same found object repurposed recycled junk assemblage/construction process that I've used to create my guitars and Gadgets but the focus of these leans far more toward nonfunctional decorative fine art. I've recently begun the rather lengthy process of completing a series of these constructions. Every step toward this long term goal has been a wonderful process. It's thrilling to finally see them coming together.
